Abstract

The study aimed to formulate a proposed vision for planning to develop positive electronic participation through virtual societies and to develop the awareness of Saudi youth about the culture of human rights. Through defining the impact and areas of positive electronic participation across virtual societies and planning requirements for developing positive electronic participation across virtual societies, and defining proposals to activate the role of positive electronic participation across virtual societies in developing the awareness of Saudi youth with a culture of human rights.

The study is one of the descriptive studies that used the social survey method with a random sample, which consisted of (115) students from the Department of Society and Social Service at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University from the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth levels. The researcher used the questionnaire tool to collect data.

The results of the study confirmed that the most important requirements for planning to develop positive electronic participation through virtual societies were to present positive models for electronic participation of youth and their role in community service and the development of a human rights culture, support the ideas of university youth presented through their electronic participation, which aims to serve the community and the universities to which they belong, Disseminating e-learning programs as supportive and not a substitute for traditional education and focusing on developing a culture of human rights. It also came out with a set of proposals, including the necessity to inculcate the positive values ​​of young people in order to encourage them to participate positively, encourage electronic posts that establish and enhance the culture of human rights from an Islamic perspective, providing the opportunity for young people to express their views in full freedom within the framework of the values ​​and systems of society. The researcher formulated a proposed vision for planning to develop positive electronic participation through virtual societies and develop the awareness of Saudi youth about a human rights culture based on participation, persuasion and training strategies for university youth.
