The Role of Global Community Cooperation in Mitigating the Effects of the Corona Pandemic from the Point of view of Saudi University Youth

Abstract

The emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic had a great impact on all aspects of life, especially on the social and cultural sides. Through this impact, the responses of different societies to these contingencies varied to overcome this crisis. It was necessary to consider the role of international community cooperation to confront this pandemic on the social and cultural levels. Therefore, this research aims to verify the effectiveness of international community cooperation in decreasing the effects of the Corona pandemic in light of the social and cultural impact of the virus outbreak. The research relied on social survey on a sample of 330 Male and female postgraduate students) at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and King Saud University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (150 males and 180 females). The results showed the great awareness among the participants of the importance of activating intercultural dialogue to organize social and cultural influences during the Corona pandemic to find out the most appropriate practices for this period.
