Abstract

This study aimed to recognize the degree of achieving the quality of work life among a sample of female faculty members in Saudi universities. The researcher mainly relied on the sample social survey method, and on the questionnaire tool to obtain the targeted data. The researcher conducted a field study on a sample of (278) female staff members in three Saudi universities: Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, Princess Nora bint Abdul Rahman University, and King Saud University. The study draws a number of conclusions, which can be summarized as follows: quality of life indicators related to professional growth and training for female faculty members lead indicators of quality of life in general. This dimension has recorded a very high degree through five basic indicators, namely: the indicator of the university providing female staff members with the necessary training that allows them to achieve professional growth, index of universities encouraging female faculty members to practice training in a way that enhances their professional capabilities, index of the university limiting the exchange of experiences among female faculty members through workshops and the formation of research teams, index of universities providing female staff members with opportunities that support their professional growth, and index of University leaders performing their duties in a manner that allows the transfer of expertise to others.
