Abstract

The term "virtual leadership" means the management and supervision of a team of a group of employees belong to a single organization or follow a single plan of action and the nature of their work in different places or different times.

The electronic driving is one of the names "virtual leadership", and this is a leading operations conducted through the media and Internet tools to communicate through electronic network between the leader and members of the working group.

The training team to work on the supervisory functions of the most important points, as each team needs to learn how to perform the tasks and setting performance and simplify work procedures and standards of learning communication skills, conflict resolution, making and decision-making and meeting management, and time management.

As one of the most important challenges facing the leadership of virtual teams, the difference in cultures between workers, and the weakness of the most important social media disadvantages of virtual work.

  • highlighted the challenges that are facing the leaders of virtual teams:
  1. Build trust.
  2. Difficulties of access and communication.
  3. Cultural diversity.
  4. Complexity of information and data exchange process.

* Society and sample research study: The study population is consisted of all employees Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh and adult's 700 employees, the study sample was randomly chosen in a way to include 300 members, it has been distributing the questionnaire (opinion poll) by Random way.

This questionnaire was built on two axes:

- The first Axis: A general demographic data and information on the respondents who are employed Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh.

- The second axis: the paragraphs of the questionnaire which are addressed to the success of the leadership of virtual teams.
