Academic Performance and its Relation to Family Guidance and Emotional and Social Compatibility among Hail University Students

This study investigates the relationship between academic performance and family guidance and emotional and social compatibility in a sample of (240) students in (education, literature and science) colleges at Hail University. To achieve the objective of the study, the researcher prepared and applied the tool of family guidance and emotional and social compatibility. Data were collected and analyzed using statistical analysis through cross-correlation coefficients and T.Test.
The findings of the study show that:
- Family guidance, and emotional and social compatibility correlate with high correlation coefficients at a statistical significance level of (0.01) with high academic performance among Hail University students.
- There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between family guidance levels in academic performance in favor of students receiving high family guidance.
- There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the emotional compatibility levels in academic performance in favor of students with high emotional compatibility.
- There are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between social compatibility levels in academic performance.
