Abstract

This study aims at shedding light on the relationship between change management, knowledge management, and administrative creativity on one side, and human resources management on the other, through a review of related literature. The study concludes that there is a   reciprocal relationship between change management and human resources management. Previous studies have indicated the impact of change management on human resources management. They have also asserted the effectiveness of human resources management in the implementation of change in organizations.

The study also concludes that there is a reciprocal relationship between knowledge management and human resources management. Preparing the proper environment to apply knowledge management and activate its tools help to achieve the development of human resources. At the same time, effective human resources positively affect the acquisition and dissemination of knowledge. Regarding the relationship between administrative creativity and human resources development, the study confirms the impact of human resources management on administrative creativity. Previous studies have shown that human resources management and its systems, practices and activities affect administrative creativity.

Furthermore, the study emphasizes the need to conduct more studies that investigate the relationship between contemporary management trends on one side, and functions of human resource management, and the efficiency and effectiveness of working groups on the other.  In addition, the study presents a model which, we hope, will assist in developing staff skills through the adoption of contemporary management trends. Finally, some recommendations based on the findings of the study are provided.
