Abstract
This study aims to reveal the level of the quality of life and identify personal attributes related to it among University students. It also aims to formulatea predictive equation regarding the quality of life as a dependent variable and personal attributes as an independent variable and recognize the differences between the two low and the two high quality of life in personal attributes.
The results of the study indicate that the level of the qualityof life of University students is considered high. In addition, they indicate that there is a negative correlation (inverse) between the total score of the Quality of Life Scale and the dimension of neuroticism for the Big Five Factors of Personality Scale and a positive correlation between dimensions scores of the Quality of Life Scale and dimensions scores of the Big Five Factors of Personality (extraversion, goodness, conscientiousness) Scale. The study also shows that the correlation is absent or semi-absent between the dimensions scores of the Quality of Life Scale and the dimension score of openness to experience, for the Big Five Factors of Personality Scale, and indicates that personality attributes explain (65%) of the total variation of the quality of life score. Moreover, it shows that there are statistically significant differences between means of low quality of life sample scores and high quality of life sample scores in personality attributes
