Al-ManSour Bin Abi `Aamer Between Destruction and Construction (366 – 392 AH / 976 – 1002 AD)

Abstract

Since the objective of Mohammed Bin Abi Amer AlMaafri; was to be the governor of Alandalus by himself only, it was not enough for him be the Janitorial for Kalipha Hisham AlMouayed for the year of 367H / 977 so that he will be able to eliminate his competitors from Sagalibah and Hijab, but he worked on making Omaya’s weak. He limited the activity of the Khaliphit and he killed all the people who were qualified to be governors and he forced the rest to be home and he fired all the people loyal to OMAYA’s in the administration and army. He left their capital AlZahra and at the same time he started to build power for him and his sons. He started to be close to the people and he saved the internal security and he showed himself as the man who will save the borders from Christians. He changed in the army and he made loyalty for himself major issue in giving a job. He shared with the Khalipha in many things and he gave himself named that shows that and, he puts his name as well on the coins besides the Khalipha name.  By that he was able to be the only governor and he made OMAYA’s very weak and made himself strong. The changes he made make OMAYA’s very weak in all Andulus and that was one of the reasons that MAYA’s Khilapha fail over.
