About the Journal:

A specialized, peer-reviewed, quarterly scientific journal issued by the Deanship of Scientific Research at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. It is dedicated to publishing original, high-quality studies and research papers that meet the standards of academic research in terms of originality of thought, clarity and soundness of methodology, and accuracy of documentation and references. The journal focuses on topics related to the Islamic sciences, including Aqidah (creed), Tafsir (Qur’anic exegesis), Hadith, Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, legal maxims, Da‘wah, Islamic culture, Islamic politics, and other areas that fall within the scope of the Islamic sciences.

A leading scientific journal dedicated to publishing the scholarly output of researchers and scholars in various fields of Islamic sciences.

 

Mission:

The journal seeks to become a scientific reference for researchers and scholars in Islamic sciences by reviewing and publishing original, distinguished, and innovative research according to high professional standards. It also aims to enhance academic communication among faculty members and researchers in Sharia sciences.

 

Objectives:

The Journal of Islamic Sciences adopts a general goal of publishing high-quality, distinguished research that enriches the field of Islamic sciences and contributes to the advancement of research in this area. The journal specifically aims to achieve the following:

  1. Contribute to enriching Islamic sciences and the Islamic library by publishing studies and research across the various branches of Sharia sciences.
  2. Provide an opportunity for scholars, researchers, and thinkers in the field of Islamic sciences to publish their academic and research output.
  3. Facilitate the exchange of academic and intellectual production at the regional and global levels.
  4. Highlight distinguished scholarly contributions and shed light on emerging research trends in the field of Islamic sciences.
