Abstract

The subject of the research: The Defective Narrations of Yazid Bin Abi Habib، in the Book of Ilal by Imam Al-Darqutni، collection and study

The objectives: to explain the scientific status of Yazid bin Abi Habib، the number of his narratives in the six books، the layers of the narrators about him and gathering of the narratives dependent on disagreement over it، studying them and distinguishing the most correct face، while highlighting Al-Darqutny's weightings in some ways and clarifying what some imams disagreed with what he referred to.

The methodology:  The research depends on inductive، analytical and critical approaches.

The most important results of the research: The importance of the science of the hadith’s reasoning، its accuracy، and the difficulty of its conduct became clear، which necessitates caution when studying the narrated narratives، and narration when weighting. The six books are divided into six layers. Al-Layth bin Saad is unique in the first layer. He is the trustful of the narrators، with most narratives.

Also، the scientific position of Al-Daraqutni emerged، with his high position in this art، and the importance of his book The Illness or Deficiency، and the most important evidence for Al-Daraqutni were: the number، preservation، and specialization.

The subject of disagreement amounted to seven Hadiths، for the narrations of Yazid bin Abi Habib، including two Hadiths that were authenticated to be valid (Sahih)، two authentic Hadiths (hason)، and a valid hadith، with the status on raising to be valid، and two Hadiths that could not be judged، because they were not examined in the Sunnah sources after searching and researching.
