Abstract

the researcher briefly reviewed the different opinions of Fiqh scholars regarding the ruling on the deceased who died before fulfilling some fast days.

The First Chapter: in this chapter, the researcher highlighted the rulings of feeding and concluded that the food of the Kaffarah feeding should be that eaten by the majority of the population of the country.

Moreover, the study concluded that it is permissible to give the food of the Kaffarah feeding, in return for missed days of Ramadan, to one poor person.

The Second Chapter: it shed some light on the rulings of fasting. In this context, the researcher recommended adopting the opinion that it is permissible to assign the task of fasting the deceased’s missed fasting days to someone else other than the guardian.

The researcher discussed the issue of requesting guardian’s permission and the issue of calculating the amount to be paid for fasting on behalf of the deceased. The research recommended adopting the saying that it is not a specified amount.
