The descriptive survey was employed in a questionnaire that undergoes validity and reliability tests, and is distributed among the study population (98 students) representing all graduate students in the Administration and Educational Planning Department, during the second semester of the academic year 1435/1436.

Having analyzed the data using a number of statistical methods, we came up with the following findings as follows:

  1. All students agree on their implementation of time management.
  2. They also moderately agree on the difficulties they face in their time management, including work load, study load and social burdens, as well as their obsession with the Internet and social networking programs.
  3. All students agree on the proposed suggestions to make use of their management of time, including commitment to complete tasks in a timely manner, and working according to predetermined priorities.

The study recommended that postgraduate students should be admitted to training courses that will help them manage their time efficiently and effectively, and holding seminars to raise their awareness about the importance of time management, and the required methods to do so. Students should also focus on the actions that help them practice time management such as being more self-discipline, avoiding hesitation when taking decisions after collecting enough data, and setting some clear specific, realistic and flexible goals.
