Ways to Activate the Roles of Colleges of Education in Saudi universities to meet the Requirements of the 2030 Vision of the Kingdom from the Perspective of Faculty Members.

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reality of the roles of colleges of education in Saudi universities in order to achieve the requirements of the 2030 vision of the Kingdom and how to activate them. It also tries to detect the differences of statistical significance and the reality of their roles and means of activating them attributable to the variable academic specialization, academic rank, years of service in university education, and being acquainted with the 2030 vision of the Kingdom). The researcher used the descriptive survey method. The study population consisted of (1590) faculty members of the Colleges of Education in Saudi universities. The sample of the study, according to the Mason equation, was 397 members. Among the most important results are:

  1. The reality of the roles of the colleges of education in Saudi universities to meet the requirements of the vision of the Kingdom 2030 was achieved with a medium degree, while the most important ways to activate the roles of colleges of education in Saudi universities to meet the requirements of the vision of the Kingdom of 2030 were achieved with a high degree.
  2. There are statistically significant differences, at the level of (0.01) confidence in the responses of the study sample to the reality and ways of activating the roles of the Colleges of Education to achieve the requirements of the 2030 vision of the Kingdom due to the differences of academic specialization and academic ranks in reality and academic ranks in the ways of activation, while there are no differences in the reality and ways of activation for rest of the variables.
