Abstract

The study aims to explore school supervisors’ attitude about the contribution of Arabic language teachers in reinforcing intellectual security among high school students in Riyadh. Also, the study addresses the influence of years of experience and supervisors’ academic major on their opinions. To achieve this goal, the researcher used the descriptive analysis method. The participants of the study consist of 30 school supervisors in Riyadh. Findings of the study showed that school supervisors have positive attitudes about the role of Arabic language teachers in reinforcing intellectual security among high school students. In addition, the study found that the variable of major was significant, unlike years of experience. It also prompted several recommendations, among these recommendations is the importance of integrating the concept of intellectual security within the curriculum of teacher preparation program in the school of education.
