Effect of foreign maids on the language development of the resources rooms pupils in Jordan in the light of some variables universities

Abstract

The present study aims to investigate the effect of foreign maids on the language development of the resources rooms pupils in Jordan in the light of some variables. To achieve the objectives of the study a questionnaire is used, after validating its psychometric properties, with (700) family (398) males and (302) females. Findings showed that the effect of foreign maids on the language development of children was high. The findings also indicated the presence of statistically significant differences regarding the impact of maids on language development attributed to the good economic status, as well as sex in favor of females, at (a < 0.05). Results also showed no differences related to the number of individuals, the existence of parents, or the nature of work of the family’s guardian  at (a< 0.05)
