Abstract

The purpose of the current research is to build an integrated training program for the development of habits of mind among the students of the Faculty of Education, Qassim University, The program's effectiveness is to improve the attitude toward learning statistics and reduce the statistical anxiety, The study sample consisted of 57 students from the Department of Physical Education, A measure of mental habits and an attitude towards statistical learning and statistical anxiety were applied to the students of the two groups after their statistical proficiency was determined, The study reached several results, including:

  • The proposed program in research is effective in developing mental habits and in improving the attitude toward learning statistics and in reducing the statistical anxiety among students in the experimental group.
  • There was a positive correlation between academic achievement and attitude toward learning statistics, and a negative correlation between academic achievement and statistical anxiety among students in the experimental group in post-measurement.
