The Attitudes of Female Students of Practical Education Towards Classroom Viewing of the Lessons of the Saudi Educational Satellite Channels during the Corona Pandemic (Covid-19) in Light of some Variables

Abstract

The research aims to identify the attitudes of female students of practical education towards classroom viewing of the lessons of the Saudi educational satellite channels during the Corona pandemic (Covid-19) and to know the degree of difference of those attitudes according to the following variables: (section, type of study plan).

To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher used the descriptive survey method, and the research tool was a measure prepared by the researcher and applied to a sample of (284) students of practical education at the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies in Al-Ahsa in the following sections: Sharia, Arabic, English. The students were selected using the Complete Census method at the end of the second semester of 1442 H.

The research results showed that the research sample generally has a highly positive attitude towards classroom viewing of educational satellite channel lessons during the Corona pandemic.  The highest percentage in the high positive attitude level reached (64.8%) of the total research sample, followed by those with a very high positive attitude level at a percentage of (16.6%).

The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences due to the section variable in the students' attitudes towards classroom viewing of the lessons of Saudi educational satellite channels during the Corona pandemic in favor of the students of the Arabic language section. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences attributable to the variable of the type of study plan in the attitudes of practical education students toward classroom viewing of the lessons of Saudi educational satellite channels during the Corona pandemic.
