Abstract

The purpose of the study is to shed light on the strategies applied by some international universities during the covid-19 pandemic and to identify means to make use of them in Saudi universities after the Corona pandemic. Documentary descriptive approach has been used whereby the desk analysis was highlighted on the strategies applied in each of Beijing University in China, the University of Toronto, Canada, and the University of Salamanca, Spain, to achieve a smooth transition to online education during the covid-19. The descriptive survey approach was also conducted through a questionnaire to a sample of (383) students in Saudi universities, to identify the most prominent educational implications (educational, social, and psychological) resulting from the spread of the Corona pandemic, covid-19. The method of future studies was conducted through expert symposium. Based on sample of (27) experts a proposed strategy aroused to confront the educational repercussions of infectious pandemics in Saudi universities. The proposed strategy consisted of starting points, objectives, phases, implementation mechanisms, and the bodies responsible for their implementation of the proposed strategy. Finally, the study proposed a set of recommendations that contribute to meeting the needs of Saudi universities after the Corona pandemic.
