Abstract

This study aims to identify the level of applying the standards set by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission in educational supervision, and the obstacles in the face of their application, from the perspective of school management supervisors in Riyadh. The study is prepared using the descriptive method. To achieve the study purposes, the researcher applied the questionnaire on 53 school management supervisors, using the complete enumeration method. Study findings showed that the level of applying the standards set by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission in educational supervision was high, with an average of (4.11). The findings further showed that there are obstacles facing school management supervisors in Riyadh, hindering their application of the Education and Training Evaluation Authority’s standards to educational supervision with a high degree, scoring an average of (3.59). The economic obstacles ranked first, followed by the administrative obstacles, the technical obstacles, and the organizational obstacles respectively. Personal obstacles ranked last, which indicates they are the least obstacles in this field.
