The Degree of Satisfaction of Graduates of Postgraduate Programs at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University with the Components of the Programs and the Extent of their Contribution to Raising Academic Achievement

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the components of postgraduate programs relate to academic achievement from the graduate's perspective. The research used the questionnaire as a tool for the study, and the methodology is a descriptive survey. The research sample reached (65) graduates of postgraduate programs with full academic achievement (5/5). The study showed that the degree of satisfaction of postgraduate graduates who received full academic achievement at the University with the educational programs offered to them was average. The study also showed that research components have the highest impact on raising academic achievement, next, personal components, then administrative components, and finally educational components.

In light of the results, the research recommends to treat the difficulties that prevent the achievement of high academic achievement, especially those related to research components. A proposed vision was developed to activate the most influential components contained in the current study to raise academic achievement. Develop scientific indicators supervised by the evaluation and quality bodies at the University and Colleges to improve the components of postgraduate programs.
