Abstract

The study aims to identify the extent of availability of human rights culture in the university environment from the perspective of Islamic studies students in the college of Education of King Saud University. Researcher has used the descriptive survey approach to achieve study objectives.

The study sample included (147) students from the study population of (352) students, that id a 41.7% of the regular student. Researcher has used the questionnaire as tool of study. The study has resulted in a set of results, most important of which was the study sample significantly agrees that the curriculum contains the concepts of human rights as well as agreeing to realize the educational goals of the principles of human rights.

The study has also showed that the professor has a positive role in raising awareness of the human rights culture in the theater.

The study has shown the interest of the university student of those with special needs.The study has shown weakness in regards to holding training courses in the area of human rights.
