Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the reality of educational policy related to (the goals of education-human skills-study curricula-the learning environment) on which the general education system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is based from the point of view of public education teachers, and to reveal the obstacles to developing educational policy from the point of view of Teachers of public education, then submit a proposal visualization of the development of educational policies in public education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the consider of the requirements of the fourth industrial revolution, and the research was based on the descriptive analytical approach. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was designed, then it was applied to a sample of public education teachers in Riyadh, which amounted to (384) teachers. The results of the study concluded that the reality of the educational policy on which the general education system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is practiced in general in general from the point of view of public education teachers, and revealed the existence of obstacles to the development of educational policy, including: the weak educational structure that motivates creativity and innovation, the weak participation of experts and all segments of society in planning and developing educational policy, speed of social and technological changes, and concluded the study by submitting a proposed vision to develop educational policies in public education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the consider of the requirements of the fourth industrial revolution.
