Learning Strategies and Their Relationship to Academic Achievement and Some Variables among Students at Salman Ibn Abdulaziz University in Al-Kharj

Abstract

This study aimed at investigating the level of learning strategies among students Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-kharj  and  whether their strategies differ according among to the student' academic level and type o f specialization , Furthermore, the study aimed at identifying  relationship Between the level of own students for learning strategies and cumulative GPA.                                                  

The sample of the study consisted of (130) students have been deployed by the study variables, used in study scale of learning strategies development researcher, has been indicators of validity and reliability of the scale, the results revealed that the students level of learning strategies was medium, the results also revealed the most common strategies and less common strategies used by the students in their studies, and the results showed no significant differences in strategies for learning, according among to the student' academic level and type of specialization , The results of the study  revealed also no significant relationship Between the level of own students for learning strategies and cumulative GPA.
