Abstract

The study aimed to survey the opinion of university professors and special education specialists about the requirements of promoting mental health for people with special needs in the light of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision. To achieve this, the researcher used the descriptive approach. The researcher designed tools and materials for the research study to achieve the goals. Arbitration of the questionnaire on a group of teachers at the University of Hail and special education specialists, numbering (70), and using the interview with some individuals with special needs to identify the most important requirements that enhance their mental health. The sample was chosen by random method; To poll university professors about the requirements of promoting mental health for people with special needs in the light of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, A set of statistical methods was used to reach the results, represented by using (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, , the results confirmed the importance of all demands, where the general average reached (3.93), but took the following order, the external demands in the first level with an arithmetic average 4.02 and the internal demands the second level An average of 3.84 active, Among the most important recommendations is the preparation of schools for the integration process to provide for internal demands and the preparation of committees to follow up on the implementation of internal and external demands, as they have a role in promoting the mental health of people with special needs
