Abstract

communication and Academic achievement among the female students of the fifth grade at Riyadh. To achieve the goal of the research, the researchers used the descriptive approach and also to achieve the goal, two tools were used: testing the mathematical writing communication and achievement test. The tools of the research were verified and checked. The tool of mathematical writing communication was applied on 141 students of the fifth grade in Riyadh whereas achievement test was applied on  students of the sample in the second semester of the session 1431-1432. After conducting the statistical analysis, the researcher reached some findings including: The performance level of the students in the Math communication skills average in each skill and also generally. And there is positive and statistically significant relationship between mathematical writing communication and academic achievement.In the light of the findings of the research, the researcher suggested a number of recommendations including; Benefit from the list of Math communication skills, written , and indicators of achievement, and the necessity of training to the teachers of mathematics on the skills of mathematical writing communication.
