Because of the importance of developing human capitals through online training on the skills required in the labor market, this research aim to identify employee attitudes towards digital micro-credentials and their relationship to improving self-learning skills for employees and the challenges they face. To achieve the objectives of the research, a descriptive approach was used and the research literature was extrapolated to come up with a design for the electronic questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of (34) items distributed on six levels, and the validity and stability of the tool were confirmed. The research was applied to a sample of 109 male and female employees from the public and private sectors in Jeddah Governorate. The results showed a close correlation between obtaining digital micro-credentials and improving self-learning skills, and there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of respondents who obtained digital micro-credentials and improving self-learning skills. The research concluded with a number of recommendations and proposals to encourage employees and overcome obstacles to obtaining micro-credentials.
