The aim of this study was to develop some 21st century skills among female university students in Saudi Arabia by developing an Islamic-based program and assessing its effectiveness. The study used the quasi-experimental method and relied on the 21st Century Skills Scale (developed by the researcher). The program was implemented on a sample of 22 fifth-year female students majoring in Early Childhood Education at Shaqra University. The 21st century skills scale was administered to the participants before and after the program implementation. The results showed that the level of 21st century skills among the experimental group was low before program implementation, and it increased significantly after the program, with statistically significant differences in the level of 21st century skills between the pre- and post-implementation tests in favor of the post-implementation. Such result indicates the effectiveness of the program in developing life skills among the study sample.
