The Present study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of a training program in improving reading comprehension for students with learning disabilities in the fifth grade of primary school. The study sample consisted of (12) students with learning difficulties in the fifth grade of primary school in the Al-Baha region; they were divided into two groups, one experimental and the other a control group, each consisting of (6) students. The study relied on the following tools: the reading comprehension scale (prepared by the researcher); and the training program (prepared by the researcher). The study used the quasi-experimental approach. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) between the mean scores of the control and experimental groups in the post-measurement of the reading comprehension scale in favor of the experimental group. There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean ranks of the experimental group’s scores in the pre and post-measurements of the reading comprehension scale in favor of the post-measurement. The results indicated that there were no significant differences statistically between the mean scores of the control group in the pre and post-measurements of the reading comprehension scale, and there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in the post-and follow-up measurements of the reading comprehension scale.
