Abstract

This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of an electronic platform based on the depth of knowledge model in developing levels of cognitive depth in content design through e-learning management systems and raising the level of achievement among female students of the higher diploma in e-learning. To achieve the objectives of the study, the experimental method was used, and the study sample consisted of all The 10 female students of the e-learning diploma at Princess Noura bint Abdul Rahman University. The measurement tools were a list of depth of knowledge indicators, a cognitive and skills test, and a questionnaire to measure the level of achievement. The results of the study showed the effectiveness of the platform based on the depth of knowledge model in developing levels of cognitive and skill depth in designing content through systems. Managing e-learning among female students of the higher diploma in e-learning, in addition to the effectiveness of the electronic platform based on the depth of knowledge model in raising the level of achievement among female students of the higher diploma in e-learning.
