Mechanisms for Activating Technology Incubators in Kuwaiti Universities in Serving Society in Light of The Requirements of The Knowledge Economy

Abstract

The study aimed to present mechanisms for activating Technology incubators in Kuwaiti universities in serving society in light of the requirements of the knowledge economy. The research also aimed to identify the theoretical foundations of Technology incubators in Kuwaiti universities in serving society in light of the requirements of the knowledge economy. The study relied on the descriptive approach, and used a questionnaire that was applied to a sample consisting of (227) faculty members - graduate students - researchers. It diagnoses the current situation of Technology incubators in Kuwaiti universities in serving society in light of the requirements of the knowledge economy, and arrives at mechanisms for activating them.
