This study investigated the impact of using the ChatGPT application in improving grammatical structures among students at the Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers at the Islamic University of Madinah. It also explored students' opinions on its use for learning grammar. The researcher employed both descriptive-analytical and experimental methods. Results showed a noticeable improvement in the experimental group that used ChatGPT compared to the control group using traditional methods.
The experimental group expressed positive attitudes toward the tool, with overall satisfaction regarding its effectiveness in enhancing their grammar skills. However, students noted some challenges, such as the accuracy of grammatical corrections and occasional ambiguity in explanations. Based on these findings, the researcher recommended integrating AI applications like ChatGPT into curricula, training teachers for effective usage, and educating students to verify the chatbot's answers before relying on them.
