Abstract

The research aims to evaluate the doctoral programs in educational sections of Al-Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, specifically the evaluation of goals, teaching methods, program plans, assessment methods, scientific supervision, and research services.

The researcher used the descriptive survey method. The tool was designed to measure the effectiveness of programs, and it was applied to the study population consisting of (143) PhD students and (136) faculty members. The research results of doctoral programs evaluation were medium, while goals rank first by degree (medium), and assessment methods came in sixth place (medium).

The researcher recommended the development of doctoral programs in educational departments at Al-Imam University in order to conform to the current and future needs and requirements of the modern era.
