equirements of achieving harmony between strategic planning and (2030) Vision in Saudi universities

Abstract

The study aims at identifying the requirements and obstacles of achieving harmony between strategic planning and (2030) Vision in Saudi universities. It also seeks to propose some mechanisms to overcome the obstacles. To realize the study aims, the researcher followed the descriptive method and administered a questionnaire as a main tool of data collection to 215 members of university boards in a number of represented Saudi universities.

The main findings are as folllows:

• The population of the study highly agree with the requirements of realizing harmony between strategic planning and (2030) Vision in Saudi universities.
• The study population moderately agree with the obstacles of realizing harmony between strategic planning and (2030) Vision in Saudi universities.
• Providing suggested mechanisms to overcome the obstacles of realizing harmony between strategic planning and (2030) vision in Saudi universities.
• Holding seminars and workshops to raise awareness about the importance of the requirements of realizing harmony between strategic planning and (2030) Vision in Saudi universities, while accepting the required transformation and creating the required strategic changes.

 Holding local and international partnerships to prepare university graduates for work.
