Availability of TESOL technical requirements among teachers of English in the intermediate schools in Riyadh

Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the level of availability of TESOL Technological Standards for English language teachers in the Intermediate Schools in Riyadh. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach was used, and a questionnaire was designed for the study. After verifying the validity and reliability of the study tools, it was applied to (228) teachers representing the sample of the study:

After collecting data, a statistical process is conducted using SPSS software. The researcher concluded that the level of availability of TESOL Technological Standards for English language teachers in the Intermediate stage in Riyadh was high. Moreover, there are statistically significant differences in the responses of the sample members to all the objectives in favor of those who are postgraduate. On the other hand, there are no statistically significant differences due to the educational preparation in the respondents' responses to all the objectives. Also, there are no statistically significant differences due to the variable of experience in the respondents' responses to all the objectives.
