Abstract

To examine the effectiveness of a training program on enhancing communication skills level in children with social pragmatic communication disorder (SPCD). 8 SPCD participants were included in this study of ages ranging from 6-9 years-old and IQ between 90-109. They were divided into two groups (i.e. control an experimental), 4 children in each. The researcher has used many tools in his study as follows: Stanford - Bient intelligence scale, fifth Edition (translated and adapted by: Safwat Farag, 2011), Social pragmatic communication disorder scale, Communication skills scale, Training program (developed by: the researcher).  Result indicated the effectiveness of the program used. It was concluded that communication skills in children with social pragmatic communication disorder could be enhanced through training
