Effectiveness of a Training Program for Kindergarten's Teachers in light of their Training Needs on Presentation Skills of Narrative Activities to Kindergarten's Children

Abstract

The current research aims at identifying the presentations skills of narrative activities that kindergarten's teachers should acquire to present these activities to children. It also aims at identifying training needs of kindergarten's teachers to the presentations skills of narrative activities, building a suggested program to train them according to their needs and investigating the effectiveness of the suggested training program. The results revealed that a) there are statistically significant differences among Means of scores of the teachers (the participants) in the pre-testing and post-testing of achievement inclining to post-testing, b) there are statistically significant differences among means of scores of the teachers (the participants) in the pre-testing and post-testing of the observation card favoring post-testing, and c) the suggested training program is effective. In light of these results, some recommendations and further research suggestions were presented.
