Teaching Performance Evaluation of Female Teachers of ‎Islamic Studies in light of Future Teacher Properties in ‎Riyadh

Abstract

The study aimed at evaluating the teaching performance of Islamic Studies female teachers in light of future teacher properties in Riyadh at the intermediate school. To accomplish the study objective, the descriptive surveying method had been adopted. Hence the note card method had also been applied. It is comprised of (48) skills, disseminated into three main components, among the study group comprised of (35) female teachers of Islamic Studies at intermediate school of education deployed in governmental schools of Riyadh. The study results revealed that skill of teaching performance for teachers of Islamic Studies judged within spotlights of future teacher properties – in the notecard- as a whole appears in satisfactory average and within an arithmetic average of (2.53). The skill lesson planning had appeared as the first class obtaining an estimation of (average) and for an arithmetic average of (2.71). The skill of lesson implementation had appeared in the second class obtaining an estimation of (satisfactory) and an arithmetic average of (2.57). The skill lesson evaluation had appeared as the third in class obtaining an estimation of (satisfactory) and an arithmetic average of (2.31). Within spotlights of these results, the study submits a proposed concept for developing the teaching performance for Islamic Studies teachers in the intermediate stage of education, within spotlights of future teacher properties in addition to several recommendations.
