This study aimed at identifying the reality of the content of Hadith and Islamic Culture textbook for the joint track of the curriculum system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the edition (1440/1441 AH - 2019/2020 AD) in the light of the ethics of electronic communication. The study also aimed at presenting a suggested concept for developing the textbook’s content in the light of these ethics. In order to achieve the research objectives, the researchers used the descriptive analytical approach and the content analysis card. The researchers have found (30) ethics for electronic communication that should be included in the content of the book. The results revealed that the current content deals with (16) ethics for electronic communication only, and by a percentage of (53.3%) of the total number of ethics included in the list contained. In contrast, (14) ethics that have not been addressed, at a percentage of (46.7 %). This percentage is a clear indication of the gap in the textbook regarding reflecting the reality of students and their needs and the problems of their community, especially since the content of the textbook has addressed these ethics without any link to the reality of electronic communication.
