Abstract

The study aimed to design a training program in light of (TEPAC) model dimensions and investigate its effectiveness in developing creative teaching skills for social studies teachers. To achieve study objectives, the researcher used the developmental approach, the constructivist approach, and the quasi-experimental approach with a pre and post-design for an experimental group. The study tools consisted of: List of creative teaching skills, creative teaching skills note card and a training program based on (TEPAC) model dimensions. The experimental study sample consisted of (20) social studies female teachers for the Intermediate Stage in the Asir region.  After conducting the six-week experiment and applying study tools; the researcher concluded that there are differences between the average scores of the experimental group of female teachers in pre-application and their scores in post-application in favor of post-application at the level of planning, implementation, and evaluation skills and overall score for creative teaching skills.  The researcher also found that the training program based on (TEPAC) model dimensions was highly effective, as Black's gain coefficient was (1.04).

In light of the study results, the researcher recommended relying on the training program that she developed to improve creative teaching skills for social studies teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Enable social studies female teachers to apply the dimensions of (TIPAC) in all stages of the teaching process, especially in planning, implementation, and evaluation; Include topics related to (TEPAC) model dimensions in curricula of Colleges of Education.
