Implementing Data-Driven Decision-Making at Princess Nurah Bint Abdulrahman University (DDDM)

The study aimed to identify the reality of data-based decision-making in Princess Nurah Bint Abdulrahman University. The descriptive survey was used to achieve the objectives of the study.The study population consisted of all faculty members at Princess Nourah University in six colleges. The sample size was (150), and the study used a questionnaire to collect data. The most prominent results of the study were: that the reality of decision-making based on data in Princess Nurah Bint Abdulrahman University came with a “high” degree, as the attitudes of the respondents towards the types of data collected by the educational department for decision-making came with a “high” degree, and in the last order came the dimension of "data of beneficiary satisfaction". The respondents' attitudes towards the department's use of data came in a "low" degree, which indicates that the method of using data in educational departments, in order to contribute to decision-making based on data, is less than hoped. The least phrases were "The data of students' results in the semester and admission tests are linked to identify the added value of studying in the program." The attitudes of the study sample towards the available support to assist in data-based decision-making were close to "approval", and in the last order came the phrase "there is cooperation with local and external experts for training", The respondents' attitudes towards the factors influencing the use of data in decision-making were "high", and the study concluded with recommendations for the development of data-based decision-making processes.
