Abstract

 

Abstract:

This study aimed to identify the digital competencies of faculty members in the College of Education in Saudi universities according to the perspective of digital transformation. The descriptive approach was used. A questionnaire was also applied to a sample of (169) faculty members at the College of Education at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University. The study reached a number of results, including the following: All the digital competencies among faculty members in the College of Education in Saudi universities, according to the perspective of digital transformation, are available to a large extent from the point of view of faculty members, and that the obstacles to the use of digital competencies in education among faculty members have a significant impact. There are also no statistically significant differences between the average responses of the study sample members regarding the degree of availability of digital competencies among faculty members in colleges of education in Saudi universities and the obstacles to their use in education according to the variable (gender, experience, and academic rank).
