The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a training program for developing economic concepts among students with intellectual disabilities. The study utilized a quasi-experimental design, with the research tools comprising a scale of economic concepts for students with intellectual disabilities and the training program developed by the researcher. The study sample consisted of 10 students with intellectual disabilities from the fifth grade in elementary schools affiliated with the education administration of Al-Baha region. They were purposively selected, with their ages ranging between 10-11 years, with a mean age of 10.50 years and a standard deviation of 0.527. The main sample was divided into two groups: an experimental group (n=5 students) and a control group (n=5 students). The results showed statistically significant differences at a significance level of (0.01) between the mean ranks of the scores of the control and experimental groups in the post-test measurement of the economic concepts scale and its sub-dimensions (consumption rationalization, buying and selling, saving) in favor of the experimental group. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences at a significance level of (0.05) between the mean ranks of the scores of the individuals in the experimental group in the pre-test and post-test measurements of the total score of the economic concepts scale and its sub-dimensions (consumption rationalization, buying and selling, saving) in the direction of the post-test measurement. There were no statistically significant differences between the mean ranks of the scores of the individuals in the experimental group in the post-test and follow-up measurements of the economic concepts scale and its sub-dimensions (consumption rationalization, buying and selling, saving).
