The Degree of Awareness of the Dangers of Using Colloquial Dialects in Learning Arabic among Female Students of the University of Jordan According to Various Variables

Abstract

The study aimed to find out the degree of awareness of the students of the University of Jordan of the dangers of using colloquial dialects in learning the Arabic language, and relied on the descriptive analytical approach, as a questionnaire consisting of (21) items was prepared, and the study sample consisted of (228) bachelor's students specializing in class teacher selected in a stratified random manner. It was found that the degree of awareness is high, and there are differences in the estimates of the respondents attributed to the academic year and in favor of the third and fourth year or more, and there are no differences in their estimates due to the educational level of the father and mother. And recommending the need to rely on the classical in teaching Arabic.
