The reality of the General Administration of Human ‎Resources at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic ‎University from the viewpoint of its employees

Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the reality of the general management of human resources at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and to know the most important obstacles facing it, and the proposals to develop that administration from the perspective of its employees. To achieve the goals of the research, the researcher used such as the descriptive survey method, and the questionnaire as tools for collecting data, and it was distributed on a random stratified sample of (451) faculty members and administrative employees. The study reached a number of results, most notably:

- All university human resource management processes (human resource planning, work analysis and design, recruitment and recruitment, training and development, performance appraisal) are practiced at a moderate level.

- There were statistically significant differences between the averages of the responses of the study sample individuals on training and development policy processes, and the differences were in favour of employees with the diploma.

The study recommended developing and updating the performance evaluation criteria used by the university to be specific, objective, fair and in line with recent developments to achieve employee satisfaction. And review the structures and systems of human resources departments in universities.
