The availability of artistic design standards for developing a sustainable educational environment from the point of view of an art education teacher

Abstract

The study aimed to assess the reality of the Educational Physical environment and its role in sustainable development for primary schools in which the art education trained teacher applies and to identify the criteria for it in the fields of internal and external construction and movement. In addition, this study tried to verify their availability and relevance from trained teacher's points of view as one of the basic elements in the educational system and sustainable development. To achieve this goal, a sample was formed consisting of (65) male and (55) female trained teachers in primary schools in Al-Ahsa city, distributed among the cooperating schools with King Faisal University and they are (30) schools. The study used the questionnaire tool to collect information and data from the study sample. The results of the study showed the following: the fields and their standards did not obtain the suitable degree of availability and suitability, and the degree of availability and suitability of the fields in the physical environment was weak. The results also showed that there were no differences between the two points of view at the significance level )0.05  α(that is, the lack of artistic standards for the development and design of a sustainable educational physical environment from the point of view of male and female teachers.
